Published: 2011-06-21

Jacob and Henrik from Outnet was in Malmö this weekend to attend a road race of 10 km (1 Swedish mile). A couple of hours before 3 pm, the starting time, the weather seemed to be a challenge. Rain was in the air and the moisture was less than comfortable. Fortunately we got some wind and the air got a lot more comfortable to breathe. Icebreaker started its journey 17 years ago with present CEO Jeremy Moon. Back then Jeremy was 24 years old and freshly out of school with marketing degree. He had one goal and that was to be able to sell his clot...

Tormod Granheim in our kitchen

Published: 2009-02-05

Yesterday, legendary Tormond Granheim visited us. In 2006 Tormod became the first man to ever ski down the north face of Mount Everest. The triumf became a tragedy when his friend Tomas Olsson on the way down died in an accident. Tormod visited us together with Sune from his sponsor Bergans. Hilleberg will continue production in Europe

Published: 2008-09-12

A few days ago Tomas from swedish tent producer Hilleberg paid us a visit. We discussed the previous season. We are selling pretty large numbers of Hilleberg tents. For the coming spring 2009 season Hilleberg will introduce the Kaitum series in a GT version, that is with a larger apse. Starting in 2009 some tarps and extra flooring for apses will be produced in south east Asia. In doing this, Hilleberg will be able to produce more tents in their own Estonian factory. Because of quality contro...

Back in business

Published: 2008-07-25

Back in office since a few days after a wonderful vacation. I prefer a rather early vacation in order to be back early and be able to prepare for the coming season while others still enjoy the summer. Now it seems summer has really arrived to Sweden. Normally hot weather means less orders for e-business but so far we have had a really good july. The bes ever actually. During my vacation I visited New York. Amongst others I bought a book by Karen Berger "Backpacking & Hiking". I like her wr...

Cool stuff!

I must take the opportunity to write a line about Handpresso - the worlds smallest espresso machine. We got our delivery yesterday (now on stock!) and everybody wants one of their own. It´t now possible to make an excellent cup of espresso sitting in a kayak. Don´t miss this product. Read more about Handpresso here. I have earlier written about Klättermusen´s new rucksack, Mjölner. We were supposed to get this new model during May but now it seems it will take at least another month, probably lo...
