Hilleberg will continue production in Europe

Will be produced in Europe also next year!
A few days ago Tomas from swedish tent producer Hilleberg paid us a visit. We discussed the previous season. We are selling pretty large numbers of Hilleberg tents.
For the coming spring 2009 season Hilleberg will introduce the Kaitum series in a GT version, that is with a larger apse.
Starting in 2009 some tarps and extra flooring for apses will be produced in south east Asia. In doing this, Hilleberg will be able to produce more tents in their own Estonian factory. Because of quality control concerns, Hilleberg tents will also in the future be produced only in Estonia by highly skilled seamers. Producing a Hilleberg tent is not an easy thing and I think production will stay in Europe even in the long run.
